Prime Movements

My first collection of stories – science fiction, adventure, humor, and memoir – a little bit of everything.

Yes, there’s a monkey with a typewriter on the cover. No, he didn’t write this book. Hopefully, that’s a good thing.

  Mr Dreyfus' Demons

Mister Dreyfus' Demons

Novel. There’s a war in hell, and Fred Dreyfus has just walked into it. The question is: can he get himself out?

What people are saying about Mister Dreyfus’ Demons:

“Not how it happened at all.” – Adolf Hitler

“Peter’s perspicacious pastiche prevents pigeonholing, plowing past perfunctory potboilers and providing a premier, potent primer on politics and propaganda. Printed with precision, peerless and penetrating, passionate and patient, the puissant prose pesters for promotion and propagation.”
– The Spirit of Spiro Agnew Weekly Newsletter

“Reading this book gave me a good idea of what hell must really be like.” – Anonymous

“Oh yeah, this is a good book. Real good.” – The Sarcastic Times

“The best foreword I ever wrote.” – John Rappacioulo

“Excellent font work.” – The Font Fount

  Glassolalia

Glossolalia

Another collection of stories.  Once again, you get sci-fi, humor, some darker, scarier stuff, and the always fun to describe “non-genre specific” stories. All for the low, low price of…

Definitions of Glossolalia:

"speaking in tongues" or “speaking with many voices”

“divinely-inspired language”

“repetitive nonsense speech”

“fabricated and nonmeaningful speech, especially such speech associated with a trance state or certain schizophrenic syndromes.”

“profuse and often emotionally charged speech that mimics coherent speech but is usually unintelligible to the listener and that is uttered in some states of religious ecstasy and in some schizophrenic states.”

Glossolalia: The Book – Fabricated? Yes. Emotionally charged? Sometimes. Repetitive, unintelligible nonsense? Hopefully not.  Schizophrenic? Not that they tell me. Divinely inspired?  Not that He tells me. Do I need a “God is my co-author” bumper sticker? Judge for yourself.
